When I saw that this book was available, I ordered it right away. I had enjoyed Three Card Monte, and was looking forward to the sequel. I was not disappointed! This book has even more action than the first and has some great plot twists and turns. I found myself caring about the characters and involved in their story. Another fun read by Mr. Timmins!

As Good As His First

Jack and Claire bring the action to Boston. Loved the action and romance between Jack and Claire steams off the pages. This book took right off where Three Card Monte left off. I really liked the storyline and the way it ended set us up for the next Jack installment. I'm looking forward to that!!!

Liked the book and storyline but the editing was terrible, it took away from the flow of the story. I would have given it 4 stars with better editing

Excellent 2nd novel by James Timmins

James Timmins has done it again. In 2012 I've read about 20 novels and none as addicting and enjoyable as Marketable by James Timmins. Set in New England you can't help but admire Jack and Claire as they go about solving a crime perpetrated on a friend of Jack's. James keeps the action going throughout the book which builds to a very satisfying ending. This follow up to his novel Three Card Monte shows an author who is going to gain a huge following for future novels in this series. While you don't have to read Three Card Monte to enjoy Marketable I recommend that you do so that you get important background information on the characters and their relationship.Marketable

An author to keep in your radar!
By D. Guayon January 24, 2013

Initially I read this author's first book, "Three Card Monty" on the recommendation of his Uncle Jimmy. However, after completing the book I was very interested in a sequel and Mr. Timmins has not disappointed. "Marketable" develops the main characters and the plot line has twists and turns that keep you riveted to the page. I will be ordering the next book in the sequel, which I understand is due to be published in November 2013.
